Mike has over 30 years’ experience in Risk advice and mitigation. In a recent discussion he highlighted that new insurer’s into this sector were realising savings in the order of 30-50% while providing equal or better policy conditions. He showed me an actual case where he was able to provide a General Surgeon better coverage while reducing his premium from $45,000 pa to $28,000 then used the savings to re-structure the doctor’s personal insurance which saved a further $180,000 over the life of the policies. This is what Mike described as “Total Risk”
The “Total Risk” concept prevents one aspect of your life “dominoing” into other aspects of your life and in most cases this can be achieve with significant savings, or as a bare minimum, substantial coverage improvement at no extra cost.
